Apr. 29th, 2015 04:54 pmToday I have been released once again upon E. coli cloning work. Or at least I made up some growth media for the first time in about five years. Once I have some glycerol I will once again be able to use DNA like lego.*
Luciferase is still my favourite DNA reporter assay. I want to use it for reporting all the things.
*If lego occasionally undid itself or decided it only wanted to stick to other bricks of the same colour or something. And if instead of using your hands to construct the lego it was necessary to direct a robot which only had a certain series of movements it could perform. But basically, circular lego.
