Because I'm crazy but like helping people.

My ward is full of gritty northerners who say things like "all these immigrants". I can only assume I got elected because I was wearing a red rosette.

The socialists control the council and have done for a few years now, we're working on it.

Unfortunately Mr Cameron was like "no moneys for you unless you vote for an elected mayor for my cabinet of mayors" and all the northern cities were like "fuck you Mr Cameron stop taxing our pasties".
