la nieve quemará mi corazón

I have gained new insight into the phrase "if you love something let it go" with the implicit "don't expect it to come back to you". I feel like a female Bergerac. But Roxanne and Christian are so sweetly nervous around each other, that I can't begrudge them potential happiness and a lover who will not in Roxanne's case use and discard her, or in Christian's case commit teenage suicide leaving him emotionally crippled for half a decade. And stupid Christian's (with his stupid body like Narcissus in the Arcadian sunlight and his stupid unkempt soft brown curls and stupid soft brown eyes and his stupid, stupid adorable naiveté) pretty mouth seems to be bound by the twin evils of dyspraxia and fear of becoming his father from speaking what it desires from beautiful shyly laughing Roxanne until Cyrano here nudges him into it. Actually he's getting better. Perhaps I'm really Pygmalion. Or at least Professor Higgins. Is Apollo inclined to strike people down for hubris?
Un baiser, mais à tout prendre, qu'est-ce....C'est un secret qui prend la bouche pour oreille.
Ce baiser trompeuse.
